SHIPPING & HANDLING 

I'm so excited to receive my parcel! How will it be sent?  Your goodies will be shipped via Australia Post (within Australia). At checkout, you'll be given the option of choosing either Standard Postage or Express Postage. This price includes the packaging of your Sew Quirky order, post box/satchel, travel and shipment.

Does my order qualify for FREE Shipping? Our shipping & handling fees are calculated from a dollar value. For Australian residents, spending over $149 qualifies you for free standard shipping. Flat rate shipping $149 and under, cost is $9.95 (regular) or upgrade to $14.55 (express). New Zealand $19.95 and worldwide International flat rate is $29.95 AUD. We are an online only store, however offer free local drop off for the Bundaberg area for orders with a minimum spend of $40. Please email info@sewquirky.com.au for details.

I can't wait to create! Check out our processing and handling times - Please allow 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) for your order to be processed, packed and posted (unless otherwise stated within the product listing, for example - preorders). There may be slight delays in busy periods such as restocks. Once your parcel is posted, it is out of our control. If you select the Express Postage option (or qualify), this doesn't speed up the processing/handling time. This is the service that is supplied by Australia Post in regards to the actual postage time of your item. More often than not, we're just so excited for you to receive your happy mail and it's shipped within 24hrs.

It would be super sad if anything happened to my order,  who is held responsible? Sew Quirky will not be held responsible for any lost items. Unfortunately once it is handed over to Australia Post, it becomes their responsibility. It is highly unlikely that you wouldn't receive your order safe and sound. Please contact us if you have any problems, we're more than happy to work together and ensure your experience with us is all smiles!

 

Unfortunately babe, if your parcel is returned to us as a result of not been collected from an Australia Post depot within their time frame, you'll need to cover the costs for us to resend your order.

 

Hey there buttercup, make sure you address your order correctly! We want your goodies to arrive quickly, safely and to YOU! Please make sure that your postal information is correct to avoid waiting longer for your happy mail and potentially having to pay extra postage costs if it needs to be resent. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that the address section is correct.

Do you post Internationally... I love your stuff, but I'm many miles away. Yes, we post internationally... all over the world to be precise! Please note that this form of postage is Air Mail and includes tracking. Sew Quirky will not be held responsible for additional government taxes & charges that may be issued upon arrival into certain countries. It's the customers responsibility to pay, sorry babe!

Coronavirus impacts - A message from Australia Post

We are doing everything possible to keep delivering during the Coronavirus pandemic. Most of our Post Offices are still open, while our posties and drivers are working to get your parcels to you. However, the challenges presented by the pandemic mean there are delays as our business adopts additional safety measures to protect our people and customers. Other factors contributing to delays include fewer domestic flights, international delays and increased volumes as more people start shopping online.
